Bars and Cookies - Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
¾ cup shortening
2/3 cup butter (no substitutions)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream shortening, butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix in chocolate chips. Drop 1-inch spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for approximately 8 minutes or until golden brown.
