Aunt B’s Sloppy Joes

'For a quick & easy meal, ladle leftovers over cooked rotini pasta.' - Bryna Dunlap (Muskogee, OK)

Ingredients:
• 3 lbs. ground turkey
• 1 c. onion, chopped
• 1 c. green pepper, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, chopped
• 1-1/2 c. catsup
• 1/2 c. water
• 1/4 c. mustard
• 1/4 c. cider vinegar
• 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
• 1 T. chili powder
• 10 whole-wheat hamburger buns, split

Preparation:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground turkey, onion, pepper and garlic until browned and tender; drain. Combine in a slow cooker with remaining ingredients except buns. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or on high setting for 3 to 4 hours. Spoon onto buns. Makes 10 sandwiches.
