Ingredients:
• 1 cup butter or margarine
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 3 cups flour (or, for chocoholics, use 2½ cups flour and ½ cup cocoa)
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 3 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
Cream butter or margarine, add sugar gradually and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs one by one, beating well after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine sour cream and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and sour cream alternately to the batter, beating well. Bake in a greased bread pan at 350° for about 1 hour.
