Ingredients:
• ½ cup butter
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 2 tablespoons hot water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup flour, sifted
• ½ teaspoon baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ cup nuts, chopped
• 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips, divided
• 1 cup miniature marshmallows, divided
Preparation:
Melt butter over low heat; mix in brown sugar until well blended. Add egg, hot water, and vanilla. In separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Add to sugar mixture; mix well. Mix in nuts, half of chocolate chips, and half of marshmallows. Spread mixture into two 9-inch pie plates. Sprinkle with remaining chips and marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool.
